Great tasting dinner in no time!
This is what I had for dinner today - Rigatoni Carbonara. It is SO good, and so easy to make. Anyone can make this. How long it took me? 10 minutes! Amazing, isn’t it. How do you do it, you ask? I say MAGIC. I can let you in on the secret though.

This is what you need: Pasta (any pasta will do), bacon, clove of garlic, egg, fresh parmesan, white wine + some olive oil and pepper. Ignore the cheese slicer. You don’t need it. Wth is it doing in the picture? Ruining it.
Ok. Get some water boiling, and add plenty of salt. Add the pasta once the water reaches a boil, and set the timer to 10 minutes. You reeeally don’t wanna overcook the pasta. Next step! …we wait a few minutes. You don’t want to have the bacon done looong before the pasta. Timing is crucial! All right - get a skillet - put it on medium heat. Pour some olive oil in it, and add the garlic clove. It will flavor the olive oil nicely. Remove the garlic once it is golden brown.
Throw in the bacon, which you have already sliced up in small strips or dices. While you’re waiting for the bacon to become crisp, get a bowl and crack the egg in it. Whisk it a bit before adding some pepper and about a cup of grated parmesan cheese. Once the bacon is done, move it off the heat and add wine - About half a cup or so.
By now your pasta should be done. Drain it, and add it to the bowl together with the bacon and all the liquids in the skillet. DONE! Easy, huh? And sooo, sooo good tasting.
Thanks to The Amateur Gourmet for this awesome recipe.
