Ice Tea Made Easy - By YOU!

Delicious Homemade Ice Tea

I took this picture yesterday, when I made myself another litre of this heavenly ice tea. As always, it turned out GREAT! I am getting very, very good at this. And so can you. It is dead easy.

This is what you need:
- Big tea filters
- Tea from dried fruits

That is it! Wait, no. You need some suger too. But that is optional.

Basically, you boil water and fill up a filter with tea - I normally fill this one pictured slighty above half full, which is just perfect for 1 litre of water. But there is no exact measurement. You just go with whatever you want, in regard of how strong you want the tea.

Now, let the tea steep for 30-45 minutes. (This only goes for tea from dried fruits. If you are using black tea or w/e, you do not want to let it steep more than 10 minutes, give or take. I recommend always using tea from dried fruits.) Then you remove the filter and add sugar. Add as much sugar as you like. I like mine semi-sweet, so I add about 7-8 teaspoons of sugar to 1 litre of tea. But again - Do whatever you like.

Then you just let it sit on the counter and cool off. Don’t put it in the fridge! I don’t put mine in the fridge at all. Instead I use ice cubes whenever I want a drink.

Enjoy!
